Q: What is your return policy?
A: You can return your unused legs within 30 days and we will refund the order, less shipping and a 25% restocking fee. Custom orders cannot be returned (this includes the Customizable A & H Tube Legs)! Please see our refund policy for full details.
Q: Are your products made in the USA?
A: Yes, we proudly make all of our products in our shop in Columbus, Ohio. All of our materiel is sourced locally.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: Yes, to Canada only. Our cart automatically calculates international shipping. Any fees / customs at destination are the responsibility of the buyer.
Q: Can I change my ship to address?
A: Most items ship out immediately. Upon checkout, please double check your shipping address. Changing the address after checkout may incur additional shipping charges.
Q: What is your lead time?
A: You can find accurate and up-to-date leads times on each product page. Most orders ship in 1-2 business days (raw and stainless steel). Black powder may have longer lead times. Please feel free to reach out to us to check availability. Once we ship your order you will receive a tracking number. Custom orders can take up to 2-3 weeks.

Q: How strong are the hairpin legs?
A: The legs are very strong! For example, a set of 4 8" legs can be used on a couch or bench that holds 3 or more adults.
Q: Should I opt for the third rod on the legs for my project?
A: The third rod makes the legs more stiff than traditional hairpin legs. These legs are ideal for desks and dining room tables. Of course some people order them just because they like the look of the third rod. See our guide to selecting the right leg for your project here.
Q: Do you offer powder coat?
A: A few sizes/styles are available in black and brass powder coat. Looking for a specific color? Follow our step by step guide to painting raw steel easily and inexpensively.
Q: How are the stainless steel legs finished? A: Stainless legs are finished with a #3 brushed grain. The mounting plate is unfinished steel.
Q: Will my legs rust?
A: Raw steel will rust if left untreated. You can either paint them, or if you would like to retain the raw look, apply a clear sealer, wax or polyurethane. Stainless steel does not rust. Unfinished steel legs will have some light oil that should be wiped off before finishing. It protects the legs from rusting prior to finish.
Q: What are the dimensions and layout of the base plates for the hairpin legs?
A: The base plates for the hairpin legs, 3rod legs and original legs are L-shaped in raw steel. They are 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" drilled with 3 holes for #10 screws.
Q: What size screws should I use for the hairpin legs?
A: #10 pan head screws. The length of the screws depends on the material to are mounting the legs to. Ideally, you should choose as long a screw as possible.
Q: Can your products be ordered at custom heights?
A: Yes, we can customize most styles. Please email us at support@hairpinlegscom to inquire about custom sizes.
Q: Do you have a showroom?
A: We do not have a showroom, but we do offer pickup. Select local pickup when you check out.
A: We do not offer wholesale pricing, but do offer bulk discounts and a loyalty discount for our repeat customers.
